Head Pastors
Troy and Esther Pierce
Pastor Troy grew up in the United States, on a small farm in Iowa. He attended the Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where he met his wife, Esther.
Esther grew up right here in Togura. The daughter of David and Naomi Robbins, Esther grew up in the ministry in Japan before attending Christ for the Nations in the U.S.
The Pierces became head pastors of TCC in 2021. They have 4 sons, Mordecai, Cortland, Abraham, and Shepherd.

David and Naomi Robbins
Pastors David and Naomi Robbins have been ministering in Japan since they came here from the US in 1985. They raised their three children, Esther, Hannah, and Jonathan here in Togura, where they were the head pastors of Togura Christ Church until 2021.
David and Naomi lead the children's ministry at Togura Christ Church, and work in the community leading a Kodomo Shokudo, and the foodbank at our church.

What we believe.
Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and the only infallible, authoritative eternal Word of God.

God, our Father
We believe that there is one true God, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Sin
We believe that man has sinned against God, and that through our sin we are separated from God and eternal life.

Jesus as God and Man
We believe that God came to earth in the form of the Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, and that He lived a sinless life on earth.

The Resurrection
We believe that Jesus died, was resurrected, and ascended to heaven.

Atonement
We believe that through his death and resurrection, Jesus Christ gave us atonement for our sins, restoring our connection to God the Father.

Salvation
We believe that those who believe in the Lord God, accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior, repent of their sins, and are baptized in water as an outward sign of their faith will be saved from the punishment of sin and receive eternal life within the Kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit
We believe that Jesus Christ, on ascending to heaven, sent the Holy Spirit to comfort those who follow Him. That the Holy Spirit is the power of God in the lives of those who believe, and that the Holy Spirit in scripture is the same Holy Spirit that operates in the lives of believers today.

Special Events
From 1:30-6:50 every Sunday, TCC becomes the home of Axios, our youth fellowship and bible study. Students ages 12-18 can spend time playing video games, watching movies, playing table tennis, throwing darts, and hanging out with their friends. Snacks and drinks are provided along with a meal at 5: oo. At 5:30 students can take part in our weekly bible study where we will talk about topics that affect them as teenagers.
